It’s a study in time and nature. The coral was once a living thing and is now hard as stone. The river rock was once rough and much larger, smoothed and burnished by elements and time. I created this brooch to be unisex, worn on a sweater or lapel (preferably tweed). The frame is sterling silver and base is copper. A simple silver stick pin back is both easy and sturdy.
